Ficus Alii Indoor Tree 5–7'

Bring serious greenery into your space with our Ficus Alii Tree, a striking indoor tree known for its long, narrow leaves and full canopy. With a softer, more relaxed look than the traditional Ficus, the Alii makes a beautiful statement in living rooms, offices, entryways and other larger spaces.

Each tree stands approximately 5–7 feet tall, making it an instant focal point. Ficus Alii is also known for being more adaptable and having better leaf retention than the traditional Ficus benjamina.

Please note that plants are living things and each one is unique. Height, shape, fullness and colouring will naturally vary.

Care Instructions

Light:
Bright light is best. Place your Ficus Alii near a bright window where it receives plenty of indirect light. A little gentle direct sun is generally fine, but avoid suddenly moving it into intense direct sunlight.

Water:
Water thoroughly when the top 1–2 inches of soil feel dry. Allow excess water to drain completely and avoid letting the plant sit in standing water. Ficus prefer consistency and may drop leaves if they become significantly overwatered or underwatered.

Humidity:
Average household humidity is generally suitable, although your Ficus will appreciate some extra humidity during Ontario's dry winter months.

Temperature:
Keep in a warm, stable environment away from cold drafts, exterior doors and heating or cooling vents. Ficus can be sensitive to sudden changes in temperature and location.

Plant Parent Tip:
Once you've found a bright spot where your Ficus is happy, try to leave it there. Some temporary leaf drop can occur after bringing it home as the plant adjusts to its new environment.
